It was March 2003, when I first got mykoc.com online. First advertisement experience was not extraordinary I just prepared a hand-out and distributed to all dormitories. Later on I cooperated with student clubs so that mykoc.com had the chance to increase its awareness.

Domain value of mykoc.com/net is high because Koç Holding has a internet service called my.koc.net. They officially ordered mykoc.com/net domain rights but I did not accept.

On the other hand, koruyucufilm has became online in Mart 2005. After I took International Marketing (Mktg 401), I wanted to use my knowledge in the real world.  So I started to contacted with 3M protective film suppliers in China and Germany. Finally, I imported protective films from Germany and has started to sell online.

Koruyucufilm.com became the official web site while I used gittigidiyor.com to sell online. Although that is not a big sector, new competitors has emerged in Gittigidiyor.com after I first introduced 3M's in Turkey.

As October 2005, Mykoc.com has 2006 members with 1.718.000 total hits. It also includes 965 news and more than a hundred pictures and class notes.
